With lot of changes around the windows and the hardware with ever changing technology it is important that your pharmacy is running on up to date hardware to maximize the performance and output form implemented systems. This page will guide you in that area.
My PC is running very slow
You can do following tasks to make it up to speed. Disk Cleanup. Remove big files from downloads of any folders. Clean desktop. run 3rd party free software to clean pc like TreeSize. Change windows to run on best performance. Restart windows once a week. Defragment the disk drives.
Network Slowness
Lot of application use networks and file share in the background. It is important that pcs are on same network or they are on at least 1 GBPS network. PC needs to be on proper network type private or public. Proper sharing permissions is in place. No unnecessory ports are open.
Windows Updates
In recent months a lot of Microsoft and Mac updates are released. It is important that you update windows without damaging its dependancies. Some common issues around this is BOSD screen, Different versions on windows 20H1,20H@,2004,1909,1903. Windows 7 SP1 or SP2
How to check PC information
Use control panel settings for that. Use third party apps to find detailed information. Use cmd line commands. Winver command to find windows version.
